Image references are included in all top-level elements, with exception of Schedules and Venues.
Program Images
Program images are output at a normalized program-specific level. For TV shows, this means that series-level and season-level images will only be included on the series program record (TMS IDs beginning with SH). Series and season level images will not be repeated on each episode program record; the connectorId and seasonId on the episode should be used to link to the appropriate series/season level images. Episodes may contain their own episode-specific imagery.
Source Images
Source images include TV station logos for the station itself, or if station is a local affiliate of broadcast or cable network, the network logo is included directly on the local station record.
Celebrity Images
Celebrity images include standard headshots of celebrities. Cast in character images are not included in Celebrity record, but are found within Program record assets for TV shows, with reference to the personId for linkage between Programs and Celebrities.
Sports Images
Sports images for Organizations (leagues), Teams, and Universities represent standard logos for those entities. University logos are included once for each University and are not repeated within the Team record; college teams include a universityId reference which allows links to the appropriate university logo.
Handling Updated and Deleted Images
Image references within Celebrities, Programs, and Sources records provide attributes to indicate their status.
As with other data updates, images provide an updateId attribute to help you track if an image has changed since your last update.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
updateId | Update token for tracking image changes. |
Deleted | Standard boolean indicator for image purge/deletion following an expiration period. |
lastModified | Last modified date of an image asset. For image deletions, indicates expiration date. |
expiredDate | Expiration date of image. Indicates image has been deprecated and will be deleted after a preset number of days. |
