Uploading Data using the Gracenote MSA

When using the Gracenote Media Submit Application (MSA) to encode and submit albums to Gracenote, occasionally the submission process will fail due to network issues or timeouts. In these cases, the MSA will indicate the error as "Submit Failed" and will export the generated FPO locally. Gracenote recommends establishing a troubleshooting protocol to automatically resubmit any failed uploads, a process that is supported by the MSA and can be enabled via specific command line arguments for re-submits. This will ensure client data, especially external IDs (XIDs) to be processed and linked in a timely manner.
